Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Spot On K9 website and any services booked with me. By accessing my website, making an enquiry, or booking a training session, you agree to comply with these Terms. Spot On K9 reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at anytime. The most recent version will always be available on my website.
2. My Services
Spot On K9 provides professional dog training sessions and related services. I aim to deliver high-quality, ethical, and effective training methods that prioritise the welfare of your dog. Training outcomes depend on many factors, including consistency and owner participation, so results cannot be guaranteed.
3. Bookings and Payments
Bookings can be made via my website or by direct contact. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your 3 Session Package and/or Top Up Session. This can be paid via Monzo or Stripe through secure payment links. Failure to pay will result in your booking being unconfirmed or cancelled.
Pack Walks and Guest Class Passes must also be paid in full upon booking to secure your space.
Weekly Classes are paid for on a monthly subscription basis via Stripe.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that plans sometimes change. However, to respect my time and other clients:
-
Payments for 3 Session Packages and Top Up Sessions are strictly non-refundable
-
Your session can be rescheduled, should you need to, providing more than 48 hours notice is given before any booked session
-
Refunds can be issued for Pack Walks and Guest Class Classes, if more than 48 hours notice is given
-
No refunds are issued for any weekly group class sessions you may miss, unless a session is cancelled by myself
-
In exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness or severe weather), Spot On K9 reserves the right to reschedule a session - you will be notified as soon as possible
5. Client Responsibilities
By attending training sessions, you agree to: ensure your dog is healthy, vaccinated (or titre tested), and not carrying any contagious conditions; provide Spot On K9 with a Fit To Train letter from your vet if your dog has any medical conditions; have your dog muzzled and/or conditioned to a muzzle if they are a bite risk; inform Spot On K9 if your dog is a bite risk and/or has a bite history; inform Spot On K9 of any behavioural issues or medical conditions before training; keep your dog under control and on a lead unless instructed otherwise; follow the trainer’s guidance. Spot On K9 reserves the right to end a session or refuse future training if a dog’s welfare or safety is at risk and if you are not keeping up with training.
6. Health and Safety
Your safety and your dog’s welfare are my top priorities. Spot On K9 follows appropriate risk assessments and health and safety measures at all times. You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour and safety during sessions, including in public environments. You must ensure your dog is fit and well prior to attending any training with Spot On K9; Fit To Train letter(s) may be required should there be any pre-existing medical issues.
7. Liability
Spot On K9 accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury to you, your dog, or your property during or after training sessions, or for incidents resulting from failure to follow my advice or use of unapproved equipment. You attend sessions at your own risk and agree to take full responsibility for your dog’s actions.
